Pt. Laxmi Kant Purohit

About Pt. Laxmi Kant Purohit

Pt. Laxmi Kant Purohit is the founder and guiding luminary behind Astex Astro. He began practising at age 22 in 1984 and has dedicated himself to the study and research of Jyotish Vigyan (Vedic Astrological Science) ever since.

The Discovery of the 22-Year Planetary Cycle

At the age of 29, Pt. Purohit undertook profound research into the ancient Bhrigu Samhita (भृगु संहिता). Through decades of empirical observation, he recognized that the traditional 120-year Vimshottari dasha cycle often fell short of explaining real-world milestones. In the authentic Bhrigu tradition, life events—such as marriage timing, childbirth, financial breakthroughs, and career ascension—are strictly synchronized with the seeker's chronological age.

Through rigorous calculation and thousands of verified charts, Pt. Purohit discovered the 22-Year Planetary Cycle:

• 9 Planetary Influences: All nine grahas express their complete energetic influence over a 22-year epoch before recurring systematically.
• Antar & Pratyantar Framework: He formulated an exacting mathematical system of sub-periods (Antar and Pratyantar) derived from the lordships of houses 1 through 12, mapping personal milestones with deterministic precision.
• The Codification of Astex: This breakthrough methodology was codified as the Astex (LKP Paddhati)—bridging timeless Vedic astronomy with structured, verifiable rules.
