Upright
Many options, some unreal. Choose with clear eyes.
A figure stands before seven cups floating in the clouds, each holding a different vision: treasure, a castle, a snake, a wreath. You have many options, and not all of them are real. Wishful thinking can be misleading. Test each dream against reality before you choose, and do not let glamour make the decision.
Reversed
Clarity after confusion. You know which one is real.
Reversed, the Seven of Cups shows clarity after confusion. The illusions fall away and you can see which option is real. It is time to decide and commit. You may also be ready to set aside fantasies and focus on what you can truly achieve.
