Upright
Your efforts are starting to pay off. Wider horizons are opening.
A figure stands on a cliff watching ships sail across the water. What you set in motion is now under way. Your efforts are beginning to return, and wider horizons are opening: trade, travel, study abroad or a project that reaches further than before. Keep your vision broad and your patience steady. Help or news from far away may arrive.
Reversed
Plans held up by obstacles. Review and adjust rather than give up.
Reversed, the Three of Wands shows ships that are slow to return. Delays, obstacles or plans that did not account for everything are testing your patience. It can also mean you are thinking too small. Do not abandon the venture. Review what went wrong, adjust the course and give it the time it needs.
