The Magician
Card I of the Major Arcana
- Skill
- Focus
- Action
As a yes or no answer:Yes
Upright
You already have what you need. Gather your focus and act on it.
The Magician stands with one hand to the sky and one to the earth, every tool on the table before him. You have more power in this situation than you think. The skills, the contacts and the words are already yours. What is needed now is focus: decide what you want, then act on it with intent. Ideas become real when you put them to work.
Reversed
Scattered effort, or someone is not being straight. Check the motives, yours included.
Reversed, The Magician points to talent left unused or energy scattered across too many things. It can also warn of someone using charm to mislead. Be honest about your own motives and watch for promises that sound too clever. Pull your attention back to one goal and the power returns.
In love
- Upright
- Attraction is strong and communication flows. Say what you feel; your words have weight right now.
- Reversed
- Be wary of charm without substance. Watch actions, not speeches.
In career and money
- Upright
- Your skills are your capital now. Pitch, apply or launch; you can make this happen.
- Reversed
- Check contracts and promises carefully. Talent is being wasted or misdirected.
